ABOUT US

Kukkiwon Illinois serves as the official local branch of Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters, bringing world-class Taekwondo resources, leadership, and expertise to the Midwest. Under the guidance of Grandmaster Chul W. Lee, appointed as president last year, Kukkiwon Illinois aims to strengthen and unite Taekwondo schools across the region.

With direct access to Kukkiwon services, we provide opportunities for local practitioners and school owners, including athlete seminars, business seminars, Kukkiwon Dan (Black Belt) certifications, and major tournaments. Our mission is to foster excellence, growth, and collaboration, offering valuable programs that elevate Taekwondo training and help students and instructors alike reach their full potential.
